Zelko Livic
Owner/Optical Dispenser
Zelko commenced his career in optics at the age of 18 and completed his apprenticeship in Optical Fitting and Surfacing (Spectacle Making) with Coles and Garrard in Bourke Street. In 1985 he completed a diploma in Optical Dispensing.
He has since managed some of Melbourne’s busiest optometric practices – including specialist child vision practices – and worked closely with optometrists to give patients the utmost in service and care.
He has owned Heidelberg Optical since 2007 and continues to provide friendly, top quality service and advice.
Nicholas Anderson
Behavioural Optometrist
Nicholas provides a relaxed and thoughtful optometric service to our adult clients but also specialises in behavioural optometry and child vision services.
He has a particular interest in vision care after acquired brain injury and concussion. Nicholas also has a large contact lenses patient base. He has high success rates in fitting contact lenses for patients of all ages - even those with very difficult prescriptions.
Nicholas has been with Heidelberg Optometry for a decade. He has a large and loyal patient base, some of whom have been coming to him for all that time.
Arthur Papoulias
Behavioural Optometrist
Arthur graduated from Melbourne University in 1985.
Arthur speaks Greek and has been practising optometry in the local area for over 20 years.
He has a great way with people, and his very loyal client base covers children, right through to adults.
Arthur is very good at contact lens fittings.
Trevor Smith
Optometrist
Trevor is our regular locum optometrist and has been working with Heidelberg Optometry for the past two years.
Trevor is a general optometrist. He had his own practice for 20 years, before selling up to work at a more relaxed pace.
Trish Chapman
Optical Dispenser
Trish, an Optical Dispenser, opened Heidelberg Optical in March 2000 and developed the practice from scratch. In 2007, she sold to Zelko but we continue to benefit from her experience and expertise.
Trish works hard to make sure people are happy with their frame and lens selection.
